Easter Adventures with OSC: Creating Memories That Matter

This Easter holiday, OSC was proud to support our young people in experiencing new environments, building confidence, and creating lasting memories through a range of exciting trips.

Our young people had the opportunity to step outside their everyday routines and explore different parts of the UK, each journey tailored to their interests and development.

Seaside Getaway – Blackpool

Young people from Park View recently enjoyed a fun-filled trip to Blackpool, making the most of everything the seaside town has to offer. From visiting the zoo ๐Ÿ˜ to experiencing the thrills of Pleasure Beach ๐ŸŽข, the trip was packed with excitement and new experiences.

They also spent time exploring the promenade and local attractions, even enjoying a Chinese takeaway together along the way.

The trip provided a valuable opportunity to build confidence, independence, and create lasting memories in a supportive environment—one step at a time.

Exploring the Capital – London

Meanwhile, our young people from Stan House set off on an exciting London adventure ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡งโœจ Over four unforgettable days, they experienced the buzz of the capital – travelling on the tube ๐Ÿš‡, taking in iconic sights, and exploring the wonders of London Zoo ๐Ÿฆœ

From discovering new places to sharing plenty of laughs along the way, the trip was a fantastic opportunity to build confidence, independence, and lasting memories ๐Ÿ’› Experiences like these help broaden horizons and support young people in feeling more comfortable navigating new environments.

A Unique Opportunity – PLouise Academy Visit

In addition, one young person from Park View was supported to attend the PLouise Academy ๐Ÿ’„โœจ—an inspiring and development-focused experience tailored to their individual interests and aspirations.

The opportunity allowed them to explore their passion in a professional setting, build new skills, and grow in confidence. It was a fantastic step towards supporting their motivation and future goals, while also encouraging independence and self-expression ๐Ÿ’›

More Than Just Trips

These experiences go far beyond holidays—they are an important part of our commitment at OSC to support personal development, independence, and wellbeing. Each trip is carefully planned to ensure young people feel safe, empowered, and encouraged to step outside their comfort zones.

We are incredibly proud of all the young people who took part, embracing new challenges and making the most of these opportunities.
