2026 Summer Holidays
Two Homes, Two Adventures:
OSC’s Summer Getaways

At One Step Care, we believe some of the best moments happen when we step away from the everyday, explore somewhere new and enjoy quality time together.
This summer, Park View travelled to Scarborough, while Stan House headed to Manchester—giving the young people from both homes the chance to enjoy a getaway shaped around their interests.
Park View’s Scarborough Adventure

Park View’s trip offered the perfect mix of adventure, laughter and time to relax. The group stayed in a lodge complete with its own hot tub, which provided a welcome place to unwind after days spent exploring.
One of the highlights was a visit to the zoo and aquarium, where the group encountered an incredible variety of animals—including a memorable close-up view of a seal!
“I love animals so really loved the zoo. I enjoyed seeing the seals and the penguins, they were so funny” - Young Person

The trip also brought plenty of action. The young people enjoyed getting out on the water, taking on rollercoaster rides and making the most of every new experience along the way.
Whether braving a ride, trying an activity or simply sharing a laugh back at the lodge, the getaway was filled with moments the group could enjoy together.
Stan House is Manchester Bound
