Welcome to Park View

Park View Children’s Home is a four-bedded residential home offering high-quality care and support for up to four children and young people, aged between 10 and 18 years. We support both male and female residents in a safe, nurturing environment designed to promote independence, wellbeing and individual growth.

A Comfortable and Homely Environment

Park View is a stylishly decorated terraced property with its own front and back yard. It is maintained to a high standard, creating a warm, welcoming, and homely atmosphere where children and young people can feel safe and settled.

Each bedroom includes:

  • A small double bed
  • Wardrobe space
  • A desk and chair
  • Decorative artwork on the walls

When you move in, you’ll have the opportunity to decorate your bedroom with your key worker, making it truly your own.

Ideal Location in Heaton, Newcastle upon Tyne

Located in the Heaton area of Newcastle upon Tyne, Park View sits within a vibrant community surrounded by a mix of residential homes and schools.

We’re just a short distance from:

We’re also close to the coastal routes, making it easy to enjoy seaside visits. It’s a quick drive from Heaton to Tynemouth, with Whitley Bay just a little further north.

Our Commitment to Care

At Park View, we aim to create a nurturing and supportive living environment where every young person is:

  • Valued and celebrated as an individual
  • Given choices that promote independence
  • Respected in terms of privacy, rights and dignity

Safeguarding and the wellbeing of every child and young person in our care is always our top priority.

What our homes provide

Our homes and staff foster a love for learning and a positive attitude towards education. We are dedicated to providing the guidance and support each young person needs throughout their school, college, or educational journey.

We encourage our young people to participate in a wide range of activities and hobbies both at home and within our local communities. They can engage in household activities, such as preparing and cooking meals, which helps them acquire the skills they will need when they leave our care.

We safeguard and promote the rights of the children and young people in our care and ensure that they are involved in discussions and decisions relating to their lives.
All of our children’s homes are located in the North East of England.
