What One Step Care have been up to this year

It’s been an exciting year for our young people so far!

One of the highlights was an adventure retreat in Wales, where they had the chance to explore the outdoors, challenge themselves with new activities, and enjoy some much-needed time to unwind and reconnect.

The young people were able to take part in:

• Kayaking
• Zip - lining
• Horse Riding
• Adventure walks
• Bike Riding

and so much more!

We also said goodbye to a couple of our young people who took their next step to independence

This year, two of our young people took an important step forward as they moved into their own homes and began their journey into adulthood.

To help them feel supported and prepared, we put together home essentials, thoughtful personalised gifts, and a meaningful send-off they’ll always remember.

Our support doesn’t end when they move on. We continue to ensure they have access to the same opportunities as any young person starting out on their own.

We also had some great Halloween fun at One Step Care

This year, One Step Care had a full spooktacular makeover!

Our staff joined in the fun with the young people, dressing up as everything from witches to Disney villains and really bringing the Halloween spirit to life.

Everyone enjoyed an afternoon of pumpkin carving, delicious treats, and plenty of party games!
